A dynamic and versatile personality with 28 years of experience in technical education, Dr. Khan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. He played a key role in establishing several institutes from scratch and elevating them to a position of eminence.  

He was instrumental in initiating a resource center for spoken tutorials and FOSS at IIT Bombay, an MHRD project, a remote training center at IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur, an MHRD project, got grants worth 35 lakhs. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, like the APJ Kalam Excellence Award, the Teaching Excellence Award, and the Eminent Educationist Award, to name a few. He is also a well-accomplished researcher with several national and international publications and articles, and he has had several collaborations with reputed organizations across the world.
