The Department of Languages prepares students to become linguistically competent global citizens. Recognizing the pivotal role of English in launching careers in first-language English-speaking countries, and the growing importance of foreign languages in professional engagements abroad, the department offers a range of language courses tailored to diverse learner needs.

These languages are available as both certificate programmes and as part of the core/elective structure within the curriculum. The courses are designed to support learners from beginner to advanced levels (A1 to B2), alligning with internationally recognized language proficiency standards.

While many of the language courses are credit-bearing, the department also offers short-term certificate courses aimed at enhancing specific language skills that add value to students' professional profiles.

IELTS Preparation Support

The Department also offers robust support for students preparing for the IELTS examination. This includes:
