International Collaborations

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Presidency University has been established with the primary objective of providing international exposure to every student at Presidency. OIA offers a range of opportunities and supports both students and faculty members in promoting internationalization at home.

This includes establishing new collaborations with renowned institutions across the globe as well as sustaining existing partnerships. OIA collaborates closely with various stakeholders within the institution and across its schools and departments to facilitate internationalization at home.

International Collaborations

Presidency University has established collaborations with more than 100 premier institutions across 29 countries for various academic and research cooperation. International collaborations provide the most strategic opportunities for the mutual benefit of the students and faculties of partnering universities, to pursue their academics in various countries across the globe.

OIA Outreach & Activities

  • His Excellency Mr. Achim Burkart, Consul General, German Consulate General, Bengaluru, visited Presidency University on 27th of July 2022 for the MoU signing ceremony with DHIK, the German University Consortium for International Cooperations, and the release of the 1st International Bulletin of the Office of International Affairs.
Taiwan Education Center

OIA encourages, supports, and facilitates the department / schools in organizing various joint events, such as webinars, workshops, conferences, etc., in association with partner institutions abroad.

Interaction with successful students abroad is an initiation of OIA to bring 2nd, 3rd, and final year students at Presidency University under a common roof where current students can clarify their doubts about opportunities, lifestyle and cost of living, visa processing, higher education, and job opportunities after semester exchange programs/ research internships.

The first interaction program with successful students abroad was organized on March 9, 2022, for students of the Civil Department at Presidency University. More than 90 students participated in the session. Mr. Bibek Gupta (a MoE scholarship awardee), a postgraduate student at National Taiwan University, Taiwan, shared his journey, achievements, and opportunities.

A second interaction program with successful students abroad was organized on March 31, 2022, for students of Mechanical Engineering, Presidency University. Student achiever Mr. Neethish Kumar Unnam, a research scholar and Master’s student at Tamkang University, Taiwan, addressed the session. More than 100 students attended the session and got an insight into the higher education system and tips to gain admission with a 100% tuition fee waiver.

Student achiever Ms. Bhargavi Dande, PhD Research Scholar, Tamkang University, Taiwan, shared the opportunities of doing higher research and pursuing masters with scholarship with the students of computer science and engineering on April 9, 2021. This was the third interaction program organized with successful students abroad to disseminate international opportunities.
