Presidency School of Liberal Arts & Sciences offers a range of academic programmes including undergraduate degrees such as B.A. English, B.Sc. Psychology and various combined liberal arts and sciences degrees, as well as postgraduate programmes like M.Sc. Psychology and M.A. English with multiple specialisations. The School also includes diploma and certificate courses in classical dance and performing arts.
Most undergraduate liberal arts and sciences programmes, such as the BA and B.Sc. degrees, have a duration of three years. The M.Sc. Psychology postgraduate programme is typically two years in duration.
For undergraduate programmes, applicants must have completed 10 + 2 / Pre-University Course or equivalent with at least 45 % aggregate marks. For the master’s programme (M.Sc. Psychology), candidates should hold a BA/B.Sc. degree with at least 50% marks and Psychology as a compulsory subject at the undergraduate level.
Beyond core academics, the School offers additional initiatives and resources such as IELTS preparation support through language clubs and certification programmes, foreign language coaching, workshops, seminars and experiential learning sessions that help enhance communication and research skills.
