Eligibility
A candidate seeking admission to the B.B.A.LLB (Hons.), B.A.LLB. (Hons.) Programs should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Should an age limit to such admission be mandated by the prescribed authority, the same will be binding on such admissions. Candidates, whose age is above 20 years as on July 01 on the year of admission, shall furnish an undertaking to the university to this effect.
The Integrated 5-year BA LL.B.[Hons.] program leading to the award of the bachelor's degree [Honors] in that discipline, provides a strong foundation and insight into the political factors that influence policies to transform themselves into law and highlights the intricate relationship between Legislations and Social problems. Aimed at creating socially sensitive sentinels of justice, this program integrates courses in political science, sociology and economics with the courses in law for students who prefer to build their careers as lawyers, judges and advocates in the state and central judicial institutions of the country as well as serve as the watchdogs of the nation through careers in civil services of the country. National and multinational corporations offer diverse career opportunities in legal services and departments, covering areas like international trade and commerce, intellectual property rights, global mobility and international laws. The emergence of LPO [Legal Process Outsourcing] has led to career opportunities in several specialized legal services, particularly in Legal Research.
