Presidency University Media Students Secure Podium Finish at MAHE Bengaluru’s Reflekta 2025
The School of Media Studies at Presidency University achieved a significant milestone as its first-semester students secured a podium finish at Reflekta 2025, the annual media festival hosted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru.
The team - Mr Abhilash Jha, Mr Nitin Pranav S., and Mr Vishwanath Nagalapura - secured third position, competing against a highly talented pool of participants from various institutions. This achievement highlights the creative aptitude, dedication, and emerging professional skills of the students at an early stage of their academic journey.
Mallika Mukta, PSOMS Student, Shines at SAJAG Child Protection Workshop
Ms. Mallika Mukta, a dedicated student of the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC) at the School of Media Studies, Presidency University, Bengaluru, recently participated in SAJAG, a high-impact, one-day child protection workshop organised under the YOSH initiative. The programme aimed to raise critical awareness around child protection and the prevention of abuse.
The event served as a collaborative platform, bringing together an esteemed panel of senior police officials, judicial authorities, child rights experts, educationists, and veteran journalists. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions on actionable strategies to create safer and more supportive environments for children across society.
