Aligning with Industry 4.0, Presidency University offers an industry-led curriculum with strong roots in industry-academia partnerships.
Relevant domain courses on Analytics, Data Science, IoT, AI and ML, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Intellectual Property Rights, Aviation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, E Commerce, Business Analytics, SFX, Gaming with strong foundations in core areas, provide excellent learning opportunities for students. The curriculum embeds experiential and skill-based learning to inculcate analytical and critical thinking abilities, design thinking, practical perspectives, and entrepreneurial talent.
Presidency University has established a Center of Excellence in association with Capgemini, the Center for Research, Innovation and Incubation, the Office of International Affairs and International Languages, and the Center for Career Guidance to create opportunities for students in the areas of research, internships (fully or partially funded), student exchange programmes, one semester abroad, and dual degree programmes such as BTech + MS in five years.
The university also has tie-ups with prominent foreign universities such as Drexel University, the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, and many more.

Consultancy and Collaboration
The University is committed to supporting faculty in external engagements that facilitate knowledge and technology transfer contributing to economic and social impact. Faculty, researchers, scientists, engineers, students, and technicians form part of the consulting team and collaborate with external agencies in multiple forms to offer consultancy services.

Jobs and Placement
The Learning, Training, and Development Department and the Career Services and Industry Connect Departments create a platform for a strong corporate partnership to understand relevant skill requirements from fresh graduates. Students have been placed across all verticals in various top corporate houses, law firms, the aviation industry, design labs, and start-ups.
The Center of Excellence at Presidency University has signed full-stack and VLSI MoUs with Capgemini. In addition, Presidency University has also signed an MOU with Capgemini on Product Life Cycle Management.
The Center of Excellence has partnered with CapGemini and Tech Mahindra to train students for pre-on-board job training.
CapGemini has introduced two courses in the 6th semester and conducts the ‘Train the Trainer" program to train the faculties who will eventually coach students on the specialised courses. In the meantime, the University has hired a vendor to train students in VLSI and PLM courses. Tech Mahindra offers two courses, Java Stack and Dotnet, with those students placed having to undergo courses in the eighth semester.
