Presidency Launchpad Association, a Section 8 entity of Presidency University, in collaboration with Rise Up Bharat (M/s Mount Judi Incubation Foundation) offers a transformative accelerator program under the SAMRIDH scheme. This initiative aims to empower innovative startups from Tier II and Tier III by offering tailored 1-year acceleration services, expert mentorship, and financial support of up to 40 lakh per startup, backed by SAMRIDH as a matching fund.
Presidency Launchpad Association (Technology Business Incubator, or TBI) is a non-profit organization registered as a Section 8 company to handhold aspiring entrepreneurs and provide facilities and assistance to start, incubate & successfully run businesses that involve innovation and societally important and environmentally relevant technologies.
Presidency University envisions Presidency Launch-Pad becoming one of the leading incubators in the country. All of the existing infrastructure and laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment will be made available to the incubated start-ups. It is sector-agnostic and supports all ideas.
Presidency LaunchPad Association ecosystem supports start-ups to take their next big step. By providing Pre-Incubation (Ideation stage) and Physical & Virtual Incubation Support FREE for the first 18 months to support budding entrepreneurs. Open to all who have an innovative idea.

Presidency LaunchPad hosted a webinar, "Startup Ideathon," on July 21, 2023 aimed at empowering and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs in developing their startup ideas and business ventures. The webinar featured a series of presentations, workshops, and interactive sessions, led by a panel of experts with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and startup development.
The webinar provided a platform for participants to learn from experienced professionals, engage in practical exercises, and network with like-minded individuals.
Presidency LaunchPad organized the "Startup Demo Day Carnival," a two-day expo on February 28-29, 2024. The event offered a dynamic platform for numerous startups to showcase their innovative products and services. The event also included insight seminars, engaging panel discussions, and various activities focused on enriching the entrepreneurial experience and fostering collaboration within the startup ecosystem.
Presidency LaunchPad organized a "Pitch Clinic" on September 10, 2024, with the objective to identify and support promising startups with potential funding.
The evaluating panel comprised PLA team members along with external judges from the Crescent Incubation Innovation Council (CIIC).
A total of 65 startup teams presented their business ideas to the jury, which were assessed based on criteria such as problem statement, solution offered, founder's attitude and commitment, market financials, and financial projections.
Following the evaluation, 15 teams were shortlisted for exploring future investment opportunities. The top-performing startup will receive funding of up to ₹5 lakhs from PLA.
