SoAHS Student Excels at Intercollegiate Throwball Event

 

Ms Shireesha S, a student of the Presidency School of Allied Health Sciences, Presidency University, proudly represented the University as part of the Throwball team at the intercollegiate sports event “Namma Sportika 2026,” organised by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management. The event was held from 13 to 15 March 2026 at Doddaballapur and witnessed wide participation from various colleges, fostering sportsmanship and competitive excellence.

 

The Presidency University Throwball team delivered an impressive performance and secured second place. This achievement reflects the dedication and sporting talent of Ms Shireesha S and highlights the active involvement of students from the School of Allied Health Sciences in sports and extracurricular activities, bringing pride to the institution.

Shyjal from SoAHS has secured 3rd position in the 5th India Open International Kickboxing Cup 2026, held in New Delhi from 3rd to 8th February 2026.

Competing against skilled athletes from across the country and abroad, Shyjal’s outstanding performance reflects dedication, discipline, and sporting excellence. This remarkable achievement brings great pride to the institution and serves as an inspiration to fellow students.
