Textile Lab

The textile laboratory with dye baths and tensile testers teaches fabric behaviour for durable, comfortable designs. Ergonomic draughting tables enable precise patternmaking, transforming sketches into templates. Sewing machines, from domestic to industrial, help master durable seams and intricate stitching. Advanced embroidery machines offer hands-on experience with real-world projects, fostering entrepreneurial skills. Professional dress forms enhance understanding of fit, balance, and fabric flow, ensuring polished, wearable designs. Students also access digital design software like Adobe Illustrator and CLO3D for modern design workflows.



Multimedia Lab

  1. 1. Multimedia Studio

The fully equipped Multimedia Studio acts as the primary center for all indoor production activities and photography classes. It is designed to replicate real-world studio environments and accommodates a diverse array of creative endeavors, including: 

  • Indoor Photography & Videography Sessions 
  • Green Screen Productions for chroma keying and VFX 
  • Professional Lighting Setup with studio-grade photography lights and video lighting systems 
  • High-End Equipment, including DSLR cameras, Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras, and an extensive collection of lenses 

 This studio allows students to investigate various styles of image-making and video production within a controlled, professional environment. 

  1. 2. Animation Lab

The Animation Lab is a specialized area for students who are enthusiastic about 2D and traditional animation. This lab is furnished with: 

  • Traditional Light Boxes utilized for hand-drawn animation techniques 
  • Resources and space for frame-by-frame sketching and paper flipping techniques 

The lab nurtures foundational animation skills and serves as a creative platform for developing classical animation expertise. 

  1. 3. Multimedia Editing Lab

The Editing Lab provides a hybrid environment for Mac and Windows systems to ensure students have access to a flexible and adaptable post-production workflow. This lab is specifically designed for: 

  • Video Editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.) 
  • 2D & 3D Animation Production using industry-standard software 
  • 3D Editing Software like Autodesk Maya, Blender, and Cinema 4D 
  • UI/UX Design and Motion Graphics sessions 

Students gain practical experience in multimedia editing, Motion Graphics, design, and interface creation, enabling them to master both creative and technical aspects of digital media. 



Space Design Studio

The Space Design Studios mimics professional firms with draughting tables, pin-up boards, and digital displays, supporting projects from residential to hospitality spaces. The Interior Design Model Workshop features tools and materials such as wood and acrylic, enabling students to craft scaled models and develop a deeper understanding of spatial design. Computer-equipped classrooms feature high-performance workstations with software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Lumion for 2D/3D design and virtual walkthroughs. The Draughting Studio (DT04) with adjustable drawing boards builds technical draughting proficiency.



Product Design Labs

The Product Design lab combines creativity, technology, and functionality to create impactful products and experiences. Through hands-on labs like the Digital Fabrication Lab for rapid prototyping, the Clay & Model-Making Studio for tactile exploration, the Material Lab for sustainability studies, the UI/UX & Interaction Design Studio for digital interfaces, the Mechanical & Manufacturing Workshop for fabrication, and the Photography & Documentation Studio for professional portfolios, students engage in real-world projects. Equipped with tools like 3D printers, Arduino kits, Wacom tablets, and software such as Figma and Unity, graduates emerge as innovative designers shaping the future.



Game Design Lab 

The cutting-edge Game Design Lab offers a unique setting for aspiring game designers. With the latest high-performance PCs and industry-standard software, students gain access to the equipment to realise their creative ideas. In addition to digital equipment, our wide range of board games and card games serves as priceless inspiration and reference for design techniques. In addition, specialised facilities such as our lightbox for animation training and combined AR/VR lab provide students with real-world experience using advanced technologies to prepare them for dynamic careers in the gaming sector. 



Communication Design Studio 

The state-of-the-art studio includes fully equipped labs with high-end cameras, enabling students to explore, experiment, and execute their ideas in the space with confidence and clarity. The faculty team comprises experienced educators and industry experts from renowned institutions. With a curriculum that spans branding, UX/UI design, motion graphics, digital media, visual storytelling, print and packaging design the Communication Design discipline prepares students to become agile professionals in an ever-evolving design landscape.



Foundation Lab

The Foundation studio includes a spacious studio classroom equipped with smart TV technology, ample whiteboards, and comfortable seating for up to 60 students, allowing for generous personal workspace and smooth movement. Along with the studio is a dedicated display room, outfitted with well-lit display boards and functional tables—ideal for showcasing student work, conducting critiques, and facilitating visual learning. This setup encourages active engagement, hands-on exploration, and a professional atmosphere for budding designers.
