2nd Alumni Interaction Meeting

The Alumni Association of Presidency University successfully conducted the 2nd Alumni Interaction Meeting on July 26, 2025, at the University. The meet brought together alumni coordinators, faculty, and university representatives for a productive discussion.

The meeting focused on:

  • Strengthening alumni engagement strategies
  • Planning the upcoming Annual Alumni Meet
  • Outlining the 2025–2026 Alumni Activity Calendar
  • Exploring alumni contributions towards student employability and mentoring

The session concluded with valuable insights and actionable outcomes that will help shape a vibrant and connected alumni ecosystem.

Samudgam – The Alumni Meet 2024: A Memorable Gathering

The third edition of Samudgam—The Alumni Meet 2024 concluded successfully on December 14, 2024, at Presidency University. The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of alumni, who participated in a diverse lineup of activities and celebrations. Highlights included a captivating performance by the Genesis Band, spontaneous stage acts by alumni, the prestigious Annual Alumni Awards across various categories, and an engaging ramp walk by the alumni. The meet also featured a variety of merchandise and food stalls, offering popular treats such as pani puri, momos, ice creams, and beverages. Alumni had the opportunity to reconnect with their mentors and batchmates, reminiscing about their cherished university days.

The Alumni Awards were presented by Dr. Vidya Shankar Shetty, Pro Vice Chancellor, who, in her address, extended best wishes to the alumni for successful careers and fulfilling lives. The recipients included K. A. Chetan and Nisarga G. R. for High Flyer Award, K. Venugopal and Sunkara Prem Kumar Reddy for Social Impact Award, Likith J. for Champions Award, and Syed Yunus, Rohit Ramesh Ramani, and Aravind P. Dhumale for Presidency Special Award.

The event concluded on a high note with a vote of thanks by Mohammed Shahajahan, Secretary of the Alumni Association, Presidency University, followed by a live DJ music performance, enjoyed by all, and a sumptuous dinner. Samudgam 2024 truly left all alumni with a sense of nostalgia and joy, strengthening the bonds within the Presidency alumni community.

Samudgam: Alumni Meet 2023

The Alumni Association of Presidency University conducted the 2nd Alumni Meet on November 11, 2023, at the University campus in Bengaluru. The alumni meet has been christened 'Samudgam', which means “Rising Together”. The meeting was inaugurated with a formal lamp lighting by Vice Chancellor Dr. D Subhakar, Registrar Dr. Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, the Pro VCs, Dr. Anubha Singh, Dr. Surendra Kumar, and Dr. Muddu Vinay, Head Alumni and ISR, Mr. Sameet Joshi, and the President of AAPU, Ms. Ayesha Sayed.

The new alumni logo, designed by a student from the School of Design, was formally inaugurated by the dignitaries. Samudgam was a memorable evening for the alumni, with an atmosphere filled with dance, music, laughter riots, and DJ jams. 700+ alumni spent their evening meeting their batch mates and mentors, enjoying awesome performances, and relishing the food. The yearly event ended with a promise to come back next year with more milestones and initiatives in the offing in 2024.

Alumni Meet 2022

Dubai Chapter Launch

On October 5, 2024, Presidency University proudly launched its first international alumni chapter in Dubai. Inaugurated by Dr. Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, Registrar of Presidency University, the event featured meaningful discussions with alumni working or residing across the UAE. The gathering was filled with personal anecdotes, warm reunions, and a shared enthusiasm to reconnect.

With this milestone, the Dubai Chapter is poised to grow into a vibrant community. The Presidency Group of Institutions looks forward to launching additional chapters globally, fostering connections among its alumni worldwide.



Bangalore Chapter Meet

The Alumni Association of Presidency University (AAPU) proudly hosted its first Bangalore Chapter meet at Dialogues Cafe, J. P. Nagar, on June 23, 2024. The event brought together alumni who rekindled cherished memories, shared personal stories from their college days, and engaged in lively conversations. Interactive activities further enhanced the camaraderie, fostering a sense of community and purpose among attendees.

With such a memorable start, the Bangalore Chapter is set to thrive as a dynamic platform for alumni to stay connected and celebrate their shared heritage. Here’s to many more engaging and meaningful meetups ahead!
