ACHIEVEMENTS

Siddeswaram Sree Adithya, a 4th-semester Multimedia student, has achieved a significant milestone at the Anantha Film Society (AFS) Short Film Festival.

His short film, Kasepu Telugu Matladukundam, received six nominations and went on to win three prestigious awards:

• Best Story

• Best Dialogues

• Best Actress

This accomplishment stands as a testament to Adithya’s creativity, dedication, and artistic vision, as well as the collective efforts of his team. Such achievements bring great pride to School of Design, Presidency University, and underscore the high calibre of creative work produced by our students.

P. Siri Named Top 5 at International Indigo Dyeing Event

P. Siri, B.Des. 3rd year, Product Design has been recognised as one of the Top 5 participants in the International Indigo Dyeing Craft Exchange and Old Street Business District Event, organised by Co-op Design, Taiwan.

Special Jury Award at International Telugu Vikasa Short Film Contest 2025

Siddeswaram Sree Adithya (3rd-semester B.Sc. Multimedia) has been honoured with the Special Jury Award for his short film “Kasepu Telugulo Matladukundam” at the International Telugu Vikasa Short Film Contest 2025, organised by the Andhra Saraswatha Parishad, Guntur.

The film is set for a special screening on January 3, 2026, in Amaravathi, where Adithya will be felicitated with ‘Meerapanam’ as a mark of respect. The prestigious ceremony will be graced by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu, and the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Sri S. Abdul Nazeer.
