Eligibility

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Engineering (B.E/B. Tech) from any recognized Indian university or a foreign university approved by UGC/AIU. In addition, candidates are required to submit the score details of any State/Central Entrance Examination or Presidency University admission qualifying examination for consideration. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor's degree. For candidates belonging to SC/ST and other Reserved Categories, the required aggregate marks are 45%.

Programme Overview

The main objective of the program is to train graduates with expertise in the science and technology of building construction, building systems and structures, materials technology, building services and maintenance, building control and automation, geo-technics and geo-systems, as well as building energy studies. This mixed-mode structure is tailor-made to assist candidates who aspire to further pursue a career in the vast field of construction or pursue research. The increasing importance placed on building construction technology has made the profession one of the fastest-growing fields in India.
