Dear Students,
A warm welcome to all who aspire to pursue various programs under the School of Computer Science and Engineering. It gives me great pleasure to announce that the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Presidency University stands tall with the largest number of students and faculty compared to all other schools.
The School offers industry-driven innovative programs, allowing students to choose their desired subjects. Our faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in the industry. We have 27 professors, 25 associate professors, and 196 assistant professors, the majority of whom hold Ph.D. degrees. They work tirelessly to create a nurturing environment for budding engineers, transforming knowledge into wisdom, and fostering the development of compassionate individuals who will benefit society. Our programs are designed with an innovative curriculum that goes beyond textbook learning. We provide practical sessions conducted at state-of-the-art computer labs to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship in our students.
To prepare students for in-demand job profiles, the School has collaborated with tech giants such as Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, NASCOM UI Path, etc., who provide training to students in various semesters before they begin their careers. Last year, our school achieved the highest number of placements, with 2000 students being placed in top-rated technology companies. We aim to further increase the number of placements by providing specialized design training. Our campus placement training modules are introduced right from the first year of academics.
