The candidate seeking admission for the B. Des program should have passed the Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 examination with the Arts/Commerce/Science stream. Obtained at least 45% marks & 40% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and other reserved categories like Category 1 and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B) students from Karnataka. Candidates must have appeared in any national-level, state-level, or Presidency University entrance examination like UCEED.

Programme Educational Objectives

The graduating students after four years of professional education in the Design Professional Program - B. Des (Bachelor of Design):

PEO 1: The graduating student shall become a professional Designer in Fashion Design, Space Design, Product Design, Communication Design.

PEO 2: The graduating student shall become a researcher in Design.

PEO 3: The graduating student shall become an Entrepreneur/Consultant/Design Practitioner.

Upon successful completion of the program, the students shall be able to:

PO 1: Apply knowledge of fundamental principles of design.

PO 2: Design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret design data.
