Institutional Social Responsibility

In this ever-changing fast-paced, device-oriented world, the youth are increasingly getting disconnected from the realities of their ecosystem, social structures, and the humane aspects of our society.

It is, therefore, imperative for educational institutions to offer a perspective and instill the importance of ‘individual’ social responsibility. I firmly believe that educational institutions play a big role in influencing the mindset of students and inculcating values that make them socially responsible and empathic professionals.

The ISR Cell at Presidency University works with a vision to foster positive and sustainable impact through purposeful and strategic initiatives. We believe and work towards creating opportunities for learning by participation under various initiatives of the ISR Cell with a linkage to many of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) adopted by the United Nations.

Providing infrastructure and tools to good primary education, opportunities to learn new skills towards livelihood, access to health care facilities, lake rejuvenation & conservation, are a few among many areas where the ISR Cell is working towards creating an impact in the community.
