About ISR Cell – Presidency University

The Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) Cell at Presidency University is committed to creating a socially responsible and sustainable campus by integrating education with meaningful community engagement. The Cell serves as a platform to inspire students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external stakeholders to contribute towards nation-building through impactful social initiatives.

 

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the ISR Cell plans and implements a wide range of programmes focusing on education, health, environmental sustainability, women empowerment, skill development, community outreach, and social innovation. Through collaborations with government bodies, industries, NGOs, healthcare institutions, and community organizations, the Cell promotes experiential learning while addressing real-world societal challenges.

 

The ISR Cell aims to nurture socially conscious graduates who demonstrate leadership, compassion, ethical values, and a commitment to sustainable development, thereby contributing positively to society beyond the classroom.
