Two-Day Life Skills Training Programme
The NSS Unit of Presidency University in collaboration with Yuvaka Sangha conducted a two-day Life Skills Training Programme as a part of the AICTE Activity Point initiative on September 12–13, 2025, for 68 students from the Campus2Community Fellowship. The sessions focused on developing key competencies such as communication, interpersonal skills, self-awareness, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
The programme promotes student participation in community-based projects. It also included a three-month volunteering module engaging 150 students through hands-on community immersion and 21st-century skill-building workshops.
The training successfully combined experiential learning and social engagement, fostering holistic growth among students.


Blood Donation Camp
The NSS Cell successfully hosted a Blood Donation Camp on September 23, 2025. The camp was held in collaboration with two established blood banks, Lions Clubs at Yelahanka and Vijayanagar, whose professional staff managed the donation and collection process with meticulous care.
The event was a testament to community spirit and dedication, with 49 active volunteers contributing their time and energy throughout the entire day. Their tireless efforts were crucial in managing logistics, guiding donors, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
An impressive 460 units of whole blood were collected over the course of the seven-hour drive. This significant achievement was made possible by the generosity of students and faculties from various schools and departments, demonstrating widespread participation and a deep commitment to this life-saving cause.
Teacher’s Day Celebrations
As a part of Teachers' Day celebrations, the NSS Cell organised a special outreach event at Ittgalpura village on September 4, 2025. The event aimed to honour and appreciate the invaluable contributions of teachers.
The programme featured engaging activities, including a chit-pick game where teachers shared memorable classroom moments, sang songs, solved puzzles, and performed short skits. NSS volunteers also presented a thematic skit highlighting the vital role of teachers in shaping young minds.
The event concluded with an open discussion on respect, gratitude, and lifelong learning, fostering a warm bond between teachers and the community. Coordinated by Shanmukha Vaishnavi, the initiative beautifully reflected the true spirit of Teacher’s Day — celebrating knowledge, guidance, and mentorship.


NSS Foundation Day
The NSS Cell celebrated on September 24, 2025. The event had active participation from students, alumni, and faculty members. The chief guest was Ms. Salma Shafeeq Ghori, a renowned social worker.
The event featured insightful speeches by dignitaries and cultural performances and a fashion show by 21 NSS students showcasing traditional attires from different states of India.
The event also had a special alumni segment, where the alumni recounted their campus memories and experiences with the audience.
To honour the hard work of volunteers, the best performers of the year 2023–2024 were awarded.

Cyclothon
The NCC unit successfully organised a cyclothon on August 20, 2025. The event was graced by Col. P.L. Jayaram. The event promoted fitness, discipline, and environmental responsibility, encouraging cadets to adopt cycling as a healthy and sustainable lifestyle choice.


International Youth Skill Day
The NCC cadets celebrated International Youth Skills Day on July 15, 2025, with the theme “Atmanirbhar Bharat – Idea and Innovation”. The day featured an awareness rally, debate, group discussion, and cycling activity. These initiatives promoted skill development, innovation, sustainability, and youth responsibility—highlighting the role of young minds in building a self-reliant India.
Mission Life - Green Protocol Awareness
The NCC unit organised an impactful awareness session under Mission Life (Lifestyle for Environment) on June 14, 2025. The programme inspired cadets to adopt eco-friendly habits through the Green Protocol initiative, followed by a collective pledge to integrate sustainability into everyday life — proving that small actions can create a big impact.


Paper Bag Awareness Drive
The NCC cadets conducted a Paper Bag Awareness Drive on July 12, 2025, to promote eco-friendly living and reduce plastic pollution. The event featured debates, discussions, poster-making, and a collective pledge for sustainability. Led by Corporal Vinay Singh, the cadets crafted handmade paper bags and promoted plastic-free practices, exemplifying youth leadership in fostering a greener and more responsible future. This initiative reflected NCC’s enduring values of discipline, service, and nation-building.
Gaurd of Honour to ISRO Chairman
The NCC cadets of Presidency University had the honour of presenting a Guard of Honour to the Chairman of ISRO on July 11, 2025, symbolising discipline, patriotism, and pride. The Chairman’s inspiring address highlighted the role of youth in driving scientific progress and nation-building. The event created a meaningful bridge between service and science, motivating cadets to serve the nation with commitment, innovation, and excellence.


International Yoga Day
Presidency University celebrated International Yoga Day on June 20, 2025, with great enthusiasm, led by the NCC unit. The event featured a rejuvenating yoga session that underscored the values of discipline, focus, and harmony—reflecting both the spirit of the NCC and the essence of yoga. The session inspired students and cadets to adopt yoga as a means to enhance physical fitness, mental tranquility, and inner strength.
Blood Donation Drive
NCC cadets of Presidency University led a successful blood donation drive on June 20, 2025. The event inspired students and staff to contribute to the noble cause of saving lives through service and compassion.
