The Institution successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Randstad, a global leader in HR solutions, marking a significant milestone in strengthening industry-academia collaboration.

 

The partnership with Randstad aims to create structured opportunities for students through industry interactions, training programs, internships, recruitment support, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This collaboration will enable students to gain practical insights into industry expectations, emerging trends, and the professional competencies required in a competitive job market.

 

The event was graced by distinguished representatives from Randstad, whose presence added immense value to the occasion. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Kumar Rahul, National Head – Manufacturing, for sharing his visionary insights and for the confidence and trust he has placed in our institution. His address highlighted the importance of nurturing industry-ready talent and fostering long-term partnerships between academia and industry to build a sustainable workforce.

 

We also express our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Manish Sharma, AVP – Recruitment, for his presence and for his instrumental role in bridging the gap between academia and industry. His contribution emphasised the relevance of aligning academic learning with real-world industry requirements and reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts in talent development.

 

Our appreciation is also extended to Mr. Krishnamoorthy N, Senior Manager – Recruitment (South & West), for his continuous support, coordination, and efforts in making this collaboration a reality. His proactive engagement played a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the MoU signing.

 

The ceremony was attended by the senior leadership of Presidency University, including the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, and Directors of various Schools, whose presence underscored the institution’s strong commitment to fostering meaningful industry partnerships. The Registrar of the University formally signed the MoU on behalf of the institution.

 

The MoU with Randstad is expected to open new avenues for student development through expert sessions, skill enhancement programs, placement support, and strategic guidance. The institution looks forward to a productive and mutually beneficial association that will significantly contribute to student success and institutional growth.
