HearMeOut

The purpose of 'HearMeOut' is to provide a safe, confidential, and anonymous platform for all students at Presidency University to share their stories, thoughts, and experiences. This initiative addresses a critical need for open expression and mental wellness, aiming to foster a more inclusive, empathetic, and supportive campus environment without the fear of judgment. 

Objective of the Club: - 

To provide and maintain a safe, confidential, and anonymous podcasting platform  To foster active listening skills and empathy within the student body.  

To de-stigmatize conversations around mental health, academic struggles, and  personal growth.  

To equip core members with practical skills in audio editing, content moderation, and  ethical project management.  

To collaborate with University Counseling Services to effectively guide students  toward professional help when needed.  

Expected outcomes: - 

After completion of the program, the students (core members) can be able to:

  •  Apply strict ethical principles (PO8) by managing a platform based on  confidentiality and anonymity.  
  •  Communicate effectively (PO10) by learning storytelling, audio production, and  public promotion.  
  •  Function as an effective team member and leader (PO9) in a multidisciplinary  setting.  
  •  Manage a real-world project from conception to execution, demonstrating  management principles (PO11).  
  •  Assess societal and health issues (PO6) and develop a sustainable, positive  solution (PO7) for the campus community.  
  •  Create, select, and apply modern IT tools (PO5) for audio recording, editing, and  distribution.
