The Department of Mathematics, Presidency School of Engineering, Presidency University, successfully organized a webinar on “Ridge Regression Methodology for Data Handling” on February 28, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM in online mode.

The session was delivered by Prof. S.K. Khadar Babu, Ph.D., Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu. He provided an insightful overview of ridge regression techniques, highlighting their importance in addressing multicollinearity and improving predictive performance in statistical modeling and data analysis.
