Presidency School of Commerce successfully organised TRASHFORMER – The Creative Sustainability Challenge on November 14, 2025.

The event aimed to encourage students to develop functional or decorative items made entirely from waste or recyclable materials, reflecting the university’s commitment to environmental responsibility and experiential learning.

The competition witnessed remarkable participation and showcased inspiring ideas that transformed everyday waste into innovative creations. The judging panel consisted of Dr. Saba Inamdar, HOD, and Dr. Gagana V., Assistant Professor, who evaluated the entries based on innovation, utility, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.

• Second Prize (₹1,000): Maniswika K. & Kothapalli Lokesh
