The School of Information Science successfully organised “The AI Creator’s Forum”, a one-day offline workshop held on 28 October 2025 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm at E Block Seminar Hall – 4. The event aimed to provide students with practical exposure to emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence through hands-on learning and expert-led sessions. A total of 64 students actively participated in the workshop, which was convened by Dr N. Duraipandian, Dean – PSIS & PSCSE, and Dr Mahalakshmi R, Associate Dean (PSIS), and coordinated by Dr Renuka Devi M, Head – PG (PSIS), and Ms Anjana D, Assistant Professor (PSIS). The programme fostered an engaging learning environment that encouraged innovation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving among participants.

The workshop featured two dynamic sessions: “AI Agents & Coding: A Practical Workshop” led by Mr Chitransh Srivastava, Founder of Aro Labs, and “Smart Workplaces: The AI Revolution” delivered by Mr Bhuvan Shankar, Technical Support Specialist at Zapier. The sessions offered a balanced blend of technical depth and real-world applicability, covering AI agents, coding frameworks, automation tools, and the transformative role of AI in modern workplaces. Participants gained hands-on experience in building simple AI-driven applications and understanding AI-enabled productivity tools. Feedback from participants highlighted the interactive nature of the sessions and their relevance to future career aspirations. Overall, The AI Creator’s Forum successfully bridged the gap between conceptual understanding and practical AI implementation, inspiring students to explore advanced learning opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
