The Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering at Presidency University successfully organised TechBiz, a Technical and Business Case Innovation Competition designed to encourage students to analyse real-world business and technology failures and develop innovative, technology-driven solutions.

The competition aimed to strengthen students’ ability to apply analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Digital Platforms to address practical challenges faced by modern industries.

TechBiz was structured in multiple phases, including case study analysis, solution design, and final evaluation, enabling participants to explore the root causes of real-world failures and propose feasible revival strategies supported by modern technological approaches.

Students from various engineering and technology programmes participated enthusiastically, demonstrating strong collaboration, creativity, and technical expertise throughout the competition.

The event successfully provided a platform for participants to enhance their research, innovation, teamwork, and presentation skills while bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry challenges.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants for their exceptional performance and innovative ideas.

The university extends its sincere appreciation to the organising committee, faculty coordinators, and evaluators for their efforts in making TechBiz a successful and impactful event.
