On 29 October 2025, the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” (Cleanliness Drive) was conducted with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and contributing to a cleaner community.

A total of 25 students from Presidency University participated in the drive. The activity commenced at Rajankunte Police Station and concluded at the Doddaballapur Main Road. The students enthusiastically engaged in cleaning activities, collecting a significant amount of waste along the route. The event aimed to encourage cleanliness, instil eco-conscious values, and strengthen the spirit of community service.

Key Highlights of the Event

• Over 50 garbage bags filled with various types of litter and plastic waste were collected and later disposed of through the garbage van of the Rajankunte Gram Panchayat.

• To further reinforce the message of environmental protection, awareness pamphlets were distributed among local residents, highlighting the importance of cleanliness and proper waste management.

Overall Impact

The drive served as a valuable opportunity for students to actively contribute to environmental conservation and foster a strong sense of civic responsibility. It reflected the NSS Cell’s continued commitment to the holistic development of its volunteers and the betterment of society through active community involvement.
