The School of Media Studies (SOMS), Presidency University, Bengaluru, organised Life in Frames 2026, a photography exhibition, on 16 October 2026. Celebrating the art of photography and visual storytelling, the exhibition brought together photographs that captured emotions, perspectives and stories through the students’ lenses.

Organised by Mr Rahul Dadhich and the postgraduate students of SOMS, with support from departmental colleagues, the exhibition provided a platform for student photographers to showcase their creativity and engage audiences through compelling visual narratives. The exhibition was visited by Provost Dr Dinesh Nilkant, who appreciated the efforts of the students and organisers and commended their creativity and commitment.

Beyond showcasing photographic talent, Life in Frames 2026 offered students hands-on experience in event planning, coordination, presentation and audience engagement, reinforcing the value of experiential learning in media education. SOMS extends its sincere gratitude to Dr Dinesh Nilkant for his encouragement and acknowledges Mr Rahul Dadhich, the postgraduate students, departmental colleagues, contributing photographers and visitors for making the exhibition a meaningful academic and creative experience. Through initiatives such as this, Presidency University continues to foster creativity, practical learning and visual storytelling among aspiring media professionals.
