SOAHS Hosts Campus Behaviour Orientation
The School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS) organised a Campus Behaviour Orientation on 11 February 2026 at FT04, led by Colonel Jayram. The session focused on the importance of discipline, responsible conduct and fostering a positive campus environment. Drawing on his extensive leadership experience, Colonel Jayram emphasised that self-discipline is the foundation of both personal and professional success. He highlighted the value of respect and integrity in interactions with peers, faculty and staff, as well as the importance of punctuality, accountability and effective time management in academic life. Students were also reminded of institutional regulations and the consequences of misconduct, reinforcing the need to uphold the University’s code of conduct.
The orientation was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and raising thoughtful questions about campus life and personal development. Attendees responded positively to the practical insights and real-life examples shared during the session, noting that the talk encouraged reflection on their own responsibilities within the campus community. Overall, the programme successfully met its objectives, strengthening awareness of expected standards of behaviour and contributing to a culture of professionalism, respect and integrity across campus.
