A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized on November 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Presidency University. The event was a collaborative initiative between the Rotaract Club of Presidency University and the NCC Wing, conducted under the guidance and supervision of Col. P. L. Jayram, Director – Student Discipline and Sports, along with the support of our Club Coordinator, Dr. Somyashree.

The camp was efficiently managed with the active cooperation of NCC Cadets, the Rotaract Club Board of Directors, and all office bearers, whose coordination ensured smooth operations throughout the day. The Bangalore Medical Services Trust (BMST) served as the official blood bank for the event and handled the collection, screening, and storage of donated blood.

Throughout the camp, a large number of students came forward voluntarily to donate blood, showcasing their sense of social responsibility and willingness to contribute to a meaningful cause. Their participation played a crucial role in making the event impactful and successful.

The key benefits of blood donation, such as saving lives, improving heart health, burning calories, boosting blood cell growth, and enabling overall health check-ups, were highlighted to encourage awareness among donors.

The event concluded on a positive note, with commendable teamwork and enthusiastic participation from all departments involved. The collaboration between Rotaract and NCC significantly contributed to the success of the camp, marking another milestone in service and community welfare at Presidency University.
