The School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSOCSE) organised an industrial visit to eMudra Digital Campus on 12 August 2026 for 60 second-year Computer Science and Engineering students (Section 1–09). The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices by providing students with first-hand exposure to the digital technology sector, professional work culture and emerging technologies. The students were welcomed by eMudra representatives and attended an informative company overview covering its business operations, digital services, technological ecosystem and career opportunities.

The visit featured engaging sessions on cybersecurity, digital public infrastructure, digital identity, electronic signatures and digital transformation, along with a group discussion, power-skills session and panel discussion. Students also had the opportunity to visit the data centre, gaining practical insights into secure digital infrastructure and the application of technology in real-world business environments. The interactive sessions enabled students to understand the importance of data security, digital trust, professional communication, teamwork and workplace readiness while connecting classroom concepts with industry applications.

The industrial visit provided students with valuable exposure to emerging technological domains and encouraged them to explore career opportunities within the digital industry. It also promoted knowledge exchange, collaborative learning and professional development through direct interaction with industry professionals. The programme concluded with a group photograph and the students' return to the University. PSOCSE extends its sincere appreciation to eMudra Digital Campus for its warm hospitality and enriching learning experience, and to the University management and Department for facilitating this valuable industry exposure. The visit was coordinated by Dr Vidhya R.
