Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSCSE), Presidency University, Bengaluru, organised a technical talk titled “AI-Powered RPA: Transforming Enterprise Operations with Intelligent Bots” on 28 August 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at E Block Seminar Hall–04. The session featured Mr Babu Prasad B. J., Senior Associate, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Bengaluru, as the resource person. The event brought together 60 students and three faculty members for an insightful session on the evolving role of intelligent automation in enterprise operations.

The talk explored key concepts including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI-powered RPA, intelligent bots, AI–RPA integration and enterprise process automation. Drawing on his professional experience with platforms such as Automation Anywhere and UiPath, Mr Babu Prasad highlighted how intelligent bots can automate repetitive and rule-based processes across applications, databases, documents, emails and business workflows. The session also addressed the benefits and challenges of intelligent automation, including efficiency, scalability, reliability and the importance of human oversight.

The event provided participants with a practical understanding of how AI can enhance conventional RPA by making automation more intelligent, adaptable and context-aware. Students gained awareness of the potential of AI-enabled bots to improve operational efficiency, consistency and scalability, while developing a broader perspective on the future of intelligent automation in modern enterprises. The session served as a valuable platform for connecting academic learning with current industry practices and emerging technologies.
