The Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSOCSE) at Presidency University organised an offline seminar titled “Prompt Engineering and Navigating AI Ecosystem” on 6 March 2026 as part of the SEMINAR 2026 series. The event aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of prompt engineering and help them understand the evolving Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.

The session was delivered by Swathi Muniraju, Quality Lead at Amazon (Amazon Alexa). With extensive industry experience and a background in Information Science from New Horizon College of Engineering, she shared valuable insights on how AI tools and prompt engineering techniques are applied in real-world technology environments.

The seminar covered key topics such as Prompt Engineering, the AI Ecosystem, and LLM Judges. Students gained practical knowledge on creating effective prompts, understanding AI tools, and applying AI technologies for learning, research, and problem-solving.

Overall, the session successfully bridged the gap between academic computer science concepts and real-world industry applications, encouraging students to explore emerging opportunities in the AI domain while adopting responsible and ethical AI practices.
