PSAIAC Signs MoU with IITM C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation to Advance Quantum Technology

The Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC), Presidency University, Bengaluru, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IITM C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation to establish a Teaching Laboratory and Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on Quantum Technology and Quantum Communications.
The collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration, advanced technology education, research, skill development, innovation and entrepreneurship.
IITM C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation is associated with India’s National Quantum Mission, with a focus on areas including Quantum Communication, Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Key Distribution, Post-Quantum Security, Quantum Networks and related technologies.
The MoU provides a structured framework for collaboration, enabling students, faculty and researchers to gain exposure to emerging quantum technologies, advanced laboratory infrastructure, hands-on learning, research, innovation and industry-oriented skill development.
The partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by combining academic expertise with industry knowledge, technical guidance and real-world technology applications.
About the Collaboration
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between Presidency University and IITM C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation in the areas of Quantum Technology, Quantum Communications, education, research, skill development, innovation and technology development.
