The Presidency School of Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computing (PSAIAC), Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, successfully organised a motivational talk titled “Success Begins with You: Your Potential. Your Success. Your Future.” on 19 August 2026 at E Block, Seminar Hall 04, Presidency University, Bengaluru.

The session was conducted under the leadership of Dr Zafar Ali Khan N, Head, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, with Ms Josephine R and Ms Sai Likhitha serving as coordinators. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 40 students and two faculty members.

The motivational session was delivered by Dr L Shakkeera, Dean, PSAIAC, who drew upon her extensive academic, research and leadership experience to inspire students to recognise their inpidual potential and adopt a positive, growth-oriented approach towards their academic, personal and professional journeys.

The session focused on the importance of self-belief, confidence, personal responsibility, determination, continuous learning and purposeful goal-setting. Students were encouraged to recognise their strengths, overcome self-doubt, embrace challenges and take meaningful steps towards achieving their aspirations.

Through an engaging and reflective interaction, students explored how mindset and attitude can influence their approach to challenges and opportunities. The session emphasised that success is not determined solely by external circumstances, but is also shaped by consistent effort, a willingness to learn, resilience and the ability to make effective use of available opportunities.

Key themes covered during the session included recognising personal strengths, developing a growth mindset, building confidence, setting meaningful goals, overcoming self-doubt, taking ownership of personal development, continuous improvement and developing a clear vision for the future.

The programme provided students with an opportunity to reflect on their capabilities, aspirations and future goals. Participants appreciated the motivating and practical nature of the session, noting that the interaction encouraged them to develop a more positive perspective towards their academic and personal growth.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the resource person, organisers, faculty members and students for their valuable contributions and enthusiastic participation.

The motivational talk successfully created an inspiring platform for students to reflect, learn and take greater ownership of their future. The programme reinforced PSAIAC’s commitment to holistic student development, confidence-building, continuous learning and preparing students to become future-ready professionals.
