Presidency University proudly congratulates our talented students for their outstanding achievements at Alliance University during the Inter-College Sports Fest held from 18th to 21st February 2026.

Our Football Men’s Team showcased exceptional skill, preparation, and determination throughout the tournament. The team was well prepared both technically and tactically, and the players demonstrated excellent commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship in every match.

Match Highlights:

• In our first match, we played against JSS and secured a convincing 8–0 victory.

• In the second match, we played against Jain College and won 7–0.

• In the quarterfinals, we defeated Christ (Main Campus) with a strong performance.

• In the semifinal, we faced Saint Joseph’s and narrowly lost 2–1 after a highly competitive match.

Overall, we secured third position in the tournament, earning the 2nd Runner-Up title. The team was awarded prize money of ₹10,000 along with certificates and medals.

These achievements highlight the dedication, talent, and sportsmanship of our students, who continue to make the University proud. This tournament has been a positive step forward for our squad, and we will continue working towards further improvement in upcoming competitions.
