The Department of Learning and Development (L&D) has introduced a scientifically structured psychometric intervention framework aimed at enhancing student employability, behavioural adaptability, and career readiness. As part of this evidence-based developmental initiative, MCA second-semester students completed the PSI (Personality Style Inventory) and RSI (Roles and Strengths Inventory) assessments during the initial weeks of the semester.

The psychometric tools were administered to evaluate behavioural preferences, cognitive orientations, interpersonal tendencies, motivational drivers, and role-strength alignment, enabling data-driven career mapping and competency identification. The assessment process was further strengthened through personalised one-to-one counselling sessions, providing students with deeper self-awareness, professional clarity, and constructive developmental feedback.

Drawing on insights gained from the psychometric assessments and behavioural analytics, the department is launching an intensive Bootcamp Series commencing on 23 May 2026. The bootcamp will focus on communication effectiveness, workplace competencies, professional resilience, and industry preparedness.

Through such research-oriented and outcome-driven initiatives, Presidency University continues to foster a future-ready learning ecosystem that empowers students with scientific self-awareness, strategic career alignment, and enhanced placement readiness.
