The Department of EEE successfully conducted a two-day workshop on "Industrial Applications with PLC and SCADA" on November 7-8, 2025. The session was led by Mr. Himanshu Kumar, Director, INDWELL Automation, Mangalore.

The workshop introduced automation concepts, PLC fundamentals, and ladder diagram programming using Codesys. Participants practiced programming techniques, wiring, and real-time PLC operations. Training on Mitsubishi PLCs and GX Developer covered programming, troubleshooting, and project development. The session aligned with UN SDGs by promoting quality education, innovation, decent work, and sustainable production.
