Event Report – Republic Day Celebration 2026
The Rotaract Club in collaboration with the ISR Cell organised the Republic Day Celebration 2026 with the students of Chokanahalli, commemorating the 76th Republic Day of India. The event aimed to instill constitutional values such as democracy, unity, and civic responsibility through meaningful interaction with the children.
The program witnessed the active participation of 7 Rotaract volunteers and 5 faculty members, along with 55 students. As part of the outreach initiative, educational and creative materials worth approximately ₹3000, including books, crayons, water paints, and sketch pens, were distributed to the children.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by an informative session where the importance of Republic Day and the values of the Indian Constitution were explained to the students. Cultural activities such as dance and singing performances were organised, creating a patriotic and joyful atmosphere.
The event concluded with a community lunch shared by the volunteers, faculty members, and children, strengthening the bond and spirit of togetherness. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience, providing an opportunity to celebrate Republic Day with young minds while promoting national pride, learning, and happiness.
