The Department of Learning & Development (L&D), Presidency University, successfully organised the “Career Readiness Bootcamp Series 2026” on 09 May 2026 for second-semester MBA students as a structured, assessment-driven placement readiness initiative.

The programme was designed to strengthen students’ communication skills, interview readiness, executive presence, confidence, articulation, and industry alignment through experiential and activity-based learning methodologies. A total of 238 students participated in the bootcamp, which uniquely integrated FIRO-B (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation–Behaviour)-based psychometric segmentation to create personalised developmental pathways for different student clusters.

The sessions included communication drills, mock interviews, role plays, simulations, group discussions, reflection exercises, executive presence development activities, and placement-oriented interventions facilitated by the L&D training team. Conducted across multiple MBA classrooms, the bootcamp received highly positive student feedback, achieving an average satisfaction rating of 4.46/5. Participants particularly appreciated the interactive learning environment, cluster-based approach, and practical placement-focused activities.

The initiative significantly enhanced student engagement, communication effectiveness, interview preparedness, self-awareness, and confidence, while establishing a progressive placement readiness framework for MBA students ahead of the 2026 placement season.
