The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Presidency School of Engineering, successfully organised an Industry-Oriented Training on Power System Analysis using MiPower on 21st April 2026 for the students of 6EEE01.

The programme was conducted from 9.00 AM to 4.15 PM with the objective of enhancing students’ practical knowledge in power system analysis. The training offered hands-on exposure to MiPower software, a widely used tool in the power industry for simulation and analysis.

During the session, students gained valuable insights into load flow studies, fault analysis, and system stability evaluation. The training effectively bridged the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications, while also strengthening analytical and problem-solving skills essential for core engineering roles.

Overall, the programme proved highly beneficial in preparing students to meet industry requirements and explore future career opportunities.
