The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Presidency School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bengaluru, successfully organised a workshop titled “Electrify Your Skills: Hands-On MATLAB Workshop for Beginners” in association with CoreEL Technologies.

The workshop introduced participants to the MATLAB programming environment, covering command-window operations, script writing, mathematical computations, data visualisation and graphical representation of engineering signals. Through hands-on exercises and practical demonstrations, participants gained experience in performing basic mathematical operations, generating and analysing waveforms, plotting graphs and interpreting computational results.

The sessions also highlighted the applications of MATLAB in numerical computation, signal analysis, engineering modelling and visualisation. Industry experts from CoreEL Technologies guided participants through interactive demonstrations and practical exercises, helping them enhance their programming skills, computational thinking and analytical abilities.

The workshop provided valuable practical learning opportunities and helped participants understand the relevance of MATLAB in solving engineering problems. It also encouraged them to apply computational techniques in their academic coursework, engineering projects and research activities.
