Objective of the Guest Lecture

The guest lecture aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, practices and importance of energy auditing in improving energy efficiency and sustainability.

The session will cover practical aspects of energy consumption assessment, energy performance evaluation, energy conservation measures and audit methodologies for identifying energy-saving opportunities. It will also focus on energy efficiency, audit procedures, measurement and verification, energy management, cost-effective conservation strategies, and relevant policies and standards.

The lecture further aims to familiarise participants with industry practices, regulatory frameworks, emerging energy-efficiency technologies and the practical challenges involved in energy auditing. Ultimately, the programme seeks to enhance students’ technical and professional competencies and prepare them for real-world energy management, sustainability initiatives and career opportunities in energy auditing and energy efficiency.
