The Department of Chemistry, School of Engineering, Presidency University, is organising an insightful workshop titled "From Atoms to Algorithms: The Role of Chemistry in Computing and Emerging Technologies". Scheduled for 18 November 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the L Block Seminar Hall, this event will focus on the cross-disciplinary impact of chemical principles on advanced computational frameworks and modern technological innovations.

The session will feature Dr Sheetal R Batakurki, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, who will deliver expert perspectives on the domain. Coordinated by Dr Chaitanya Lakshmi, Associate Professor (Selection Grade), Department of Chemistry, the workshop invites all interested students and faculty members to attend and gain deeper insight into the convergence of molecular science and computing.
