Presidency University, in collaboration with the Khelo India Scheme, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the Karnataka Rugby Football Association (KRFU), proudly hosted the Asmita Rugby League 2025 on October 25, 2025. 

The event, held under the national ASMITA initiative, featured categories for Under-15, Under-18, and Senior Women, with participation from over 17 teams of 220 players across Bengaluru, promoting woman empowerment and excellence in sports.
