Presidency University celebrated Aarambh ’25 on September 13, 2025. The event marked a grand and joyous beginning for the new academic year at Presidency University. The celebration welcomed freshers with a perfect blend of culture, fun, and entertainment.

The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony, an engaging ice-breaking session and a lively welcome dance. The most anticipated segment of the event, the Mr. & Ms. Fresher Contest, witnessed remarkable participation, where Abdul Khan and Amrutha Raj emerged as the winners, impressing the audience with their confidence and charm.

The event included splendid performances, including band acts, solo and group dances, singing, rap, beatboxing, and even magic tricks, showcasing the diverse talents of the student community.

Adding a star-studded touch, Elumale movie actors Priyanka Achaar and Raanna graced the occasion, while alumnus Pratham Kathare unveiled his latest track, “Desi Naari”, to an enthusiastic response.

The event concluded with a power-packed concert by Alive India, creating an unforgettable evening filled with music, joy, and celebration of new beginnings. The event's success goes to the entire DSA team led by Dr. Anu Sukhdev, Dean, Student Affairs.
