Linchpin Club, under the School of Commerce at Presidency University, is a dynamic student-led platform that brings together the fields of Commerce, Management, and Economics through experiential learning, innovation, and collaboration. Guided by its tagline, “Connect, Collaborate, and Grow,” the club creates opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom while building meaningful professional and personal connections.
Built on the philosophy of “learning by doing,” the club organizes a wide range of engaging academic and competitive events throughout the year, including business simulations, Shark Tank-style pitch competitions, economic and management games, debates, case study challenges, workshops, and guest lectures led by industry experts. These events are designed to strengthen leadership, strategic thinking, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while preparing students for real-world business environments and inter-college competitions.
The club also serves as a collaborative space where students can exchange ideas, gain practical exposure, and grow together in a supportive and professional environment. Through active participation, structured delegation, and hands-on experiences, members develop confidence, entrepreneurial thinking, and industry-ready skills that contribute to both academic and career growth.
