Gen AI CLUB

The GEN AI Club is the official student innovation and technology club of the Presidency School of Information Science, functioning under the Department of Student Affairs. Established with the vision of empowering students through innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning, the club serves as a dynamic platform for exploring Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Science, and emerging technologies. The club is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for BCA and MCA students to develop technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and industry-relevant competencies. Through a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, members are encouraged to transform ideas into practical solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute to technological advancement. GEN AI Club regularly organises workshops, hackathons, ideathons, innovation challenges, coding competitions, expert talks, webinars, startup simulations, and project-based learning initiatives. These activities provide students with opportunities to strengthen problem-solving skills, gain exposure to industry practices, collaborate across disciplines, and build professional confidence. A key focus of the club is bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. Objectives:

• To promote awareness and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Science, and emerging technologies among students.
• To provide a platform for experiential learning through workshops, projects, competitions, and innovation-driven activities.
• To foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills by encouraging students to develop technology-based solutions for real-world challenges.
• To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements through practical exposure and industry interactions.
