DISASTER RISK REDUCTION CLUB

The primary purpose of a Disaster Management Club for university students is to foster a culture of preparedness, awareness, and resilience against various types of disasters in the community.

OBJECTIVES: 

• Create awareness about disaster risks, prevention, and mitigation among the campus community.

• Provide training in essential emergency skills such as first aid, fire safety, evacuation procedures, and the use of safety equipment.

• Conduct drills, workshops, and campaigns to prepare students for effective disaster response.

• Promote a culture of preparedness and resilience through educational and interactive activities.

• Empower students to act as first responders during natural or man-made disasters, both on campus and in the local community.
