PSOCSE Showcases Innovation at Project Prism 2026

28-April-2026

The Department of PSOCSE organised Project Prism 2026 – From Thought to Technology on 28 April 2026, presenting an inspiring project expo that celebrated innovation, creativity, and technical excellence among BCA students.

The event witnessed an impressive participation with 60 projects submitted across all classes. After a rigorous selection process, 30 projects were shortlisted for final presentation before an esteemed panel of judges, Ms. Anjali Singh, Senior Consultant at EY, and Mr. Shashank Kumar, Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer at Broadridge Financial Solutions. Their industry expertise, particularly in Artificial Intelligence, provided valuable perspectives that helped students relate academic concepts to real-world applications.

The expo was structured around two major tracks. The Artificial Intelligence track featured over 30 innovative projects that demonstrated the application of AI in solving real-world challenges across domains such as healthcare, finance, and education. Students showcased remarkable creativity and technical depth, impressing the judges with impactful and practical solutions.

Complementing this, the Design Thinking & Innovation track brought together 12 of the best student groups from across BCA classes. These projects focused on user-centric approaches, emphasising empathy, ideation, and creative problem-solving, highlighting the importance of integrating design thinking with technological development.

Beyond project presentations, the event played a significant role in nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and technical competencies among nearly 200 participating students. The feedback from judges encouraged students to think analytically and explore the transformative potential of emerging technologies.

Project Prism 2026 not only celebrated student achievements but also reinforced the institution’s commitment to developing future-ready professionals. Initiatives such as this continue to provide a platform for interdisciplinary learning and prepare students for evolving opportunities in the field of technology.
