PSOCSE Hosts “Build with TRAE” Hackathon to Promote Innovation and AI-Driven Coding
Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering organised the “Build with TRAE Hackathon X VisionX Club” on 4 March 2026, from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms Smitha SP, Assistant Professor, followed by remarks from Dr Blessed Prince P., HoD – CSE, and a special address by Dr Gopal Krishna Shyam. The keynote session was delivered by Mr Mithun S, Software Development Engineer II at Cisco, who shared valuable insights on scalable web technologies and AI integration.
The hackathon witnessed enthusiastic student participation and featured a prize pool of ₹45,000, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and the practical application of emerging technologies. Students engaged in AI-native coding and real-world problem-solving, gaining hands-on experience aligned with current industry expectations. The event also provided participants with access to the TRAE platform, further enhancing their exposure to advanced tools and resources.
Overall, the event successfully fostered innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence among students. It received highly positive feedback from both faculty and participants, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices while positioning PSOCSE as a hub for innovation and career-oriented learning.
