A workshop titled “Persistent Memory Systems: Integrating MCP with AutoGen Agents” was organised by Cosmic Crew on 18 November 2025 at Presidency University, Seminar Hall 1, F-Block. The session aimed to familiarise students with advanced concepts in artificial intelligence, focusing on how persistent memory systems enhance the reasoning, adaptability, and contextual awareness of autonomous AI agents. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohana Prakash T A, Associate Professor at RMK Engineering College, Chennai, who shared insights drawn from extensive academic and research experience.

The session covered the Model Context Protocol (MCP), AutoGen agents, multi-agent collaboration, and the integration of persistent memory backends such as Redis, Chroma, and Pinecone. Through technical discussions and demonstrations, participants gained a clear understanding of memory-enabled AI architectures and their real-world applications. The workshop successfully bridged theoretical learning with emerging industry practices, motivating students to explore advanced AI systems, research opportunities, and project development in autonomous and intelligent agent technologies.
